I’m a King William Road local. I’ve lived in the area for nearly 14 years and there’s nowhere else I’d rather call home!

What I love most is that you have everything you need in one place: fashion, food, homewares, hair, beauty, places to wine and dine, and so much more. Above all, it’s the people that keep me coming back. The incredible business owners who are passionate about what they do and make you feel so welcome. The sense of community really is something to behold.

Most days, you’ll spot me walking along King William Road – usually with my little companion, my dog Amalfi in tow. So, here’s a little snapshot of a day in my life…

First stop: coffee.

You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to coffee along King William Road, however a new favourite is newcomer, Morchella. It’s become a go-to meeting spot for me and my clients.

Next, it’s time for some pampering.

As a blogger, I’m always in front of the camera, so I have regular appointments for hair and nails in my calendar. A girl’s got to look her best!

I’ve been getting my hair done at Fon Salon ever since they opened, three years ago. Alex and the team are experts at creating beautiful, unique hair and you’ll find me in the chair every week, getting a blow dry.

Nails are next. MediPedi Nail Spa is Adelaide’s first medical nail spa – and the best. The standard and quality is second to none. There’s no one else I’ll trust my hands and feet with!

Manicured and pedicured to perfection, I’m ready to get my shop on.

For gifts, I can’t go past Flourish. They have the most amazing range of homewares and gorgeous items that never fail to surprise and delight. You’ll always find something for everyone.

Whether I’m updating my wardrobe or my husband’s, I always find something to take home at Denim and Cloth. They nail the effortless cool vibe and I’ve been supporting Brian and co since they opened the doors, 10 years ago.

Fresh flowers are a must have for me and no one does them better than the talented and creative team at Austin Bloom.

Shopping done, it’s time to eat!

For pizza and people watching, Melt is my pick. I’ve been working my way through the menu over the years!

And finally, it’s time for a wine.

The Local Wine Co is the perfect spot to end the day, glass of wine in my hand and smile on my face.

Until next time, King William Road…

Top 3 hidden gems of King William Road:

1. Hustle – they do a mean almond chai and my pick from the menu is the Soprano bagel.

2. The Flying Trunk – a charming cocktail bar that feels like home. But with better drinks.

3. Parisi’s – my pick for date night or a girls’ lunch. Order the tasting plate and arancini.
