Winter Fashion Trends for 2018

According to expert stylist, Cimon Vozzo, the biggest fashion trend for women this Autumn/Winter will be tailored clothing, “Think classic chic with a figure-fitting blazer paired with an amazing pair of pants. This style is great to add to your existing wardrobe,” says Cimon. Structured tops with defined cuts and gorgeous fabrics are always a flattering option for women who want to appear effortlessly chic.

Ladies, for your winter wardrobe colour palate, think soft caramels, navy blue and ‘wine’ hues. Vibrant prints, including classic stripes, polka dots and checks are expected to make a comeback this Winter

Another Winter fashion trend for both men and women is layering – Cimon recommends layering a long top with a knit and a coat to finish off the look, adding extra warmth and style. “Everybody knows you need a great coat to get you through the chilly season,” says Cimon. Coats also allow you to effortlessly go from day to night whether you dress it down with sneakers or dress it up with statement heels. Cimon emphasises the importance of choosing a coat length tailored to your height, “A check, tan or red coat will undoubtedly set you apart from the crowd this season,” says Cimon.

Accessories essential this Winter include a waist belt bag, statement earrings and patterned head scarfs – “I like to use my grandfather’s old pockets squares to tie around my ponytail and complete my overall look,” says Cimon.

Cimon also loves that men are taking more pride in their appearance, “A lot of men have personal styling sessions with me because they want to understand what’s on trend and what suits them… It’s great that men of all ages want to look fashionable,” says Cimon. Popular colours for men this A/W include navy, caramel and khaki.

Fashion often comes to life during the colder months, with more material and textured fabrics to play with. The King William Road fashion retailers have all your A/W essentials covered.
